May 22, 2016

NIGHT TOURNAMENTS: Scheduled for July 15 and August 19, each from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. These tournaments will be held based on interest beforehand. NEW BOARD MEMBER: Todd Rice.


May 21, 2016

The fish-off was held on Saturday, May 21st, at Lake Greenwood. There were 9 eligible teams who participated. First place honors went to Larry Parris and Todd Howard with 5 fish weighing 14.78 lbs. Second place honors went to Kevin Fowler and Kirk Fowler with 5 fish weighing 12.40 lbs. Third place honors went to Todd Rice and Garrett Merdith with 4 fish weighing 12.22 lbs., along with big fish honors of 6.46 lbs. Night tournaments are scheduled for July 15 and August 19, each from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. These tournaments will be held based on interest beforehand.


April 16, 2016

The final regular tournament of the 2015-2016 season was held on Saturday, April 16th on Lake Keowee. There were 8 teams who participated. First place honors went to Dan Lowe and Don Payne with 4 fish weighing 6.51 lbs. Second place honors went to Reggie O'Brien and Pat O'Brien with 5 fish weighing 5.67 lbs. Big fish honors went to Kevin Fowler and Kurt Fowler with 3.76 lbs.


March 19, 2016

The seventh tournament of the 2015-2016 season was held on Saturday, March 19th on Lake Greenwood. There were 10 teams who participated. First place honors went to Larry Parris and Todd Howard with 5 fish weighing 11 lbs. Second place honors went to Josh Frady and Lawson Frady with 4 fish weighing 10.73 lbs., along with big fish honors of 3.91 lbs. CONGRATULATIONS to "Anglers of the Year" Eddie Belcher and Gary Stribling and to Chuck Robbins and Scott Cooke with "Big Fish of the Year" with 6.22 lbs.


February 20, 2016

The sixth tournament of the 2015-2016 season was held on Saturday, February 20th on Lake Clarks Hill. There were 10 teams who participated. First place honors went to "Bass Professionals" Eddie Belcher and Gary Stribling with 5 fish weighing 25.17 lbs. (WOW) and once again they won big fish honors of 5.78 lbs. With a surprise reappearance, second place honors went to Reggie O'Brien and Pat O'Brien with 5 fish weighing 15.54 lbs.
