The kick-off meeting for the 2014-2015 season will be held on Thursday, September 4th at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Perry Wycuff. Registration fee for the new season and first tournament fees for Lake Russell will be accepted at this meeting. NOTE: Our bass club has been asked for any member who would be willing to donate new or slightly used fishing equipment (rods, reels, etc.) and accessories (plugs, hooks, tackleboxes, etc.) to the Broome High School Bass Club. If you are willing to donate, please bring items to the team meeting. For further details, contact Reggie O'Brien (864-542-5899).

The annual meeting was held May 1st. A new lake schedule was prepared by the Board. Rule changes for the 2014-2015 season are: Rule #10--"Lifejacket must be worn while boat is on plane" has been removed; Rule #16 (now #15) has changed to read--"There is a 5 fish limit. No culling at landing or at scales--cull when limit (5) is reached."; Rule #30 has changed to read--"Any protest must be made within 15 minutes after weigh-in to a tournament official and the present tournament committee, who will talk to both parties involved, separately and in private, and will decide the outcome. No protests will be accepted after monies are paid." Officers for 2014-2015: Eddie Belcher and Gary Stribling will receive entry fees. David Arnold will continue as tournament starter. Perry Wycuff and Dan Lowe are now the weigh masters. Reggie O'Brien will continue as the records and webpage keeper. Board members for 2014-2015: Gary Stribling, Eddie Belcher, Dan Lowe, and Melvin Montjoy.
